Yvonne Daisy (La Pointe) Pinter

Yvonne Daisy Pinter (Cheeky) passed away peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital on Sunday June 18th, 2023 at 81 years of age after a brief battle with pneumonia. She was surrounded by family.
Beloved wife of the late Johann Pinter. Cherished daughter of the late Raymond LaPointe, Thomas and Daisy Gallon.
Loving Mother  to Jamey (Jackie), Dirk, and Camilla (Johnny) McEwen.
Dear sister of June (the late Peter) Leach, predeceased by her sister Camilla (Jim) Dafoe, predeceased by her sister Barbara (the late Raymond) Lennox, Dear sister to Marlene (Jim) Richards, and little brother Roderick (Peggy) (and the late Angie) Gallon.
Yvonne (Cheeky) will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. We would like to thank the staff at Bendale Acres long term care for taking such good care of mom over the years. They truly became family.
A memorial will be held on October 26th, 2024 to celebrate the life of Yvonne. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers we would greatly appreciate donations to the  Alzheimer's Society.
