It is with great sadness to announce our loving father, devoted grandfather, trusted friend, caring brother and wisest of mentors, Yvon Albert Sarazin, 73, of Orléans, passed away on October 4th, 2026.
Born on January 25th, 1953 in Ottawa, Yvon started his journey to being the person he is today. It was from humble beginnings that he became the selfless person we have all known and loved over the years. He spent most of his life dedicating his time, energy and knowledge to those around him. He was known for dropping everything, to help you in any capacity he could from, giving you helpful tips to growing the best garden, building your dream shed, baking or cooking a meal to, just simply dropping everything he had on the go to listen to you over a perked coffee.
He is survived by his: spouse Linda Sarazin; his children, Kyle Sarazin (Natasha Da Silva Sarazin) and Evan Sarazin; his grandchildren, Ella, Nevander, Zavéa, Ayden and Noah. He will also be held deep within the hearts of: his sisters Monique, Carole (Paul Joly), Rachael, Gisèle (Philippe Leuiller), Patricia (Murray Drager), and Lyn (Chris Gibbard); and many nephews, nieces and friends.
A service honouring him will be held on October 23rd at 11:30 am at the Paroisse St-Joseph d'Orléans, 2757 St-Joseph Blvd, Orléans. The family will receive condolences in person from guests starting at 10:30 am.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in his honour would be appreciated.

C'est avec une grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès d'Yvon Albert Sarazin, un père adoré, un grand-père dévoué, un ami de confiance, un frère attentionné et le plus sage des mentors, âgé de 73 ans, d'Orléans, survenu le 4 octobre 2026.
Né le 25 janvier 1953 à Ottawa, Yvon a tracé le chemin qui a fait de lui l'homme qu'il était. Issu d'un milieu humble, il est devenu cette personne altruiste que nous avons tous connue et aimée au fil des ans. Il a consacré la majeure partie de sa vie à offrir son temps, son énergie et ses connaissances à son entourage. Il était reconnu pour tout laisser tomber afin de vous venir en aide, peu importe la situation : qu'il s'agisse de vous donner des conseils pratiques pour faire pousser le plus beau des jardins, de construire le cabanon de vos rêves, de cuisiner un bon plat ou, tout simplement, de s'interrompre pour vous écouter autour d'un bon café infusé.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Linda Sarazin, ses enfants Kyle Sarazin (Natasha Da Silva Sarazin) et Evan Sarazin, ainsi que ses petits-enfants Ella, Nevander, Zavéa, Ayden et Noah. Il restera également gravé à jamais dans le cœur de ses sœurs Monique, Carole (Paul Joly), Rachael, Gisèle (Philippe Leuiller), Patricia (Murray Drager) et Lyn (Chris Gibbard), ainsi que de ses nombreux neveux, nièces et amis.
Un service commémoratif en son honneur aura lieu le 23 octobre à 11 h 30 à la Paroisse St-Joseph, située au 2757, boulevard St-Joseph à Orléans. La famille recevra les condoléances en personne à compter de 10 h 30.
Vos témoignages de sympathie peuvent se traduire par un don en son honneur à la Fondation des maladies du cœur et de l'AVC du Canada.
