It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our Mum (Wilma) on Saturday March 9th, 2024. She will be lovingly remembered & missed by her Children; Scott (Elaine), Donna, Sandra (Jim), Grandchildren; Adam (Amber), Sarah, Kyla, and Great Granddaughter Brynlee. She will also be greatly missed by her dearest friend Eileen. Mum was born in Glasgow Scotland on January 7th, 1933 to John & Janet Morrison and immigrated to Canada with Dad in 1957. Mum considered Canada her home but had warm memories & colourful stories of life in Scotland. She enjoyed spending many a summer vacation at Wasaga Beach, her favourite place. She was a huge fan of Rod Stewart, enjoyed listening to his music and managed to take in a few of his concerts. The family wish to express their deep appreciation to all the staff at Woodhall Park Retirement Village for looking after Mum for the last 2 plus years. As per Wilma’s wishes no service will be held. Messages of condolence will be received at Basicfunerals.ca. If desired donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada in her memory.
