Blake was born in Sarnia. He has lived in Barrie since he was 15 months old. He attended Codrington and North.
He excelled in sports rep soccer and basketball and downhill racing at Snow Valley
Blake had a warm personality, great sense of humour and a welcoming presence to everyone he met
He had many paper routes since the age of 8. His first job at age 12 was at the pharmacy on Blake street.
