It is with sadness that we announce the passing of William (Bill) Grossman on May 17, 2024, at the age of 93.
Bill was born in Tamsweg, Austria. Following the family tradition, he became a master watchmaker. At 20, Bill immigrated to Canada and settled in Hamilton, where he met his late wife, Edith. Bill Grossman Watch Repairs was in business for over 40 years.
Bill was also a sculptor, working in bronze and wood. He was passionate about food and caring for his house and garden. He loved birdwatching and being in nature.
He leaves behind son David (Paul), daughter Julia Robbins (Dave), and granddaughter Sarah, as well as extended family in Austria.
At Bill’s request there will be no service.
