On February 24, 2026 at the age of 77, Wes left us unexpectedly and far too soon.
Wes was a hard worker and a professional at whatever he did whether work or play. He had a passion for music that started early and continued throughout his life. As a bass player, Wes was extremely talented and created bass lines that will live on forever.
His sense of humor was contagious and appreciated by anyone who knew him. He enjoyed shows that made him laugh as well as sports and many types of documentaries. Wes had an amazing bond with animals. They sensed that Wes was a good person. His two most notable bonds being with Rocky (his dog) and Buddy (his squirrel).
Wes will be immensely missed by his sisters Sue (Emmett) and Marilyn (Fred), his niece Rachel and nephews Nathan and Robert (Hera) and his grandnephew and nieces, Travis, Ava and Noelle. Wes was a loved father figure and anchor to Jeremy and Laurel. To his partner Sheree, Wes was her rock. She loved him deeply for many years and always will.
A celebration of life will be held later in the year where friends and family can gather to share their memories of Wes.
