Wendy Verduijn

November 17, 1939 — February 25, 2014

Wendy Patricia Verduijn (nee Silvester), 74, of Brampton Ontario, passed away on February 25th, 2014, peacefully, with her daughters at her side.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am on Friday February 28th at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church (115 Vodden Street East, Brampton, ON, L6V 1M4). A reception will be held at the church immediately following the funeral mass.
Wendy is predeceased by her husband Arie, and her parents; father Frederick C. Silvester (former Registrar of the Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto, Organist and Choir Director of Bloor Street United Church and Director of the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir), and mother Eva May Rendall (concert pianist).
Wendy is survived by her daughters, Adrienne Eastwood (John) and Margot Bai (James), her grandchildren Benjamin and Bronwyn Eastwood, her sister Diane Grey (David), niece Beth Striebeck (Mark), nephew Albert Statti (Maria), and nephew David Statti (Kim Kaufman). Wendy is also survived by her husband Arie's children from a previous marriage (to Eeke de Vries); Martha De Gelder (Jack), Jack Verduyn (Marlene), Hage Verdun (Audrey), Ellen Doane (Gordon), Emmy Verdun (David Tappin), and Alex Verdun (Carole), along with all their children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Humane Society of Canada (https://www.humanesociety.com), or Wycliffe Bible Translators (http://www.wycliffe.ca).
