Victor Erwin Kimberley

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Vic Kimberley on Monday May 12, 2025, at the General Hospital. Vic was the last surviving child of eight children. He was predeceased by his father William Kimberley, his mother Irene (nee Gendron), his brothers Wayne, Bobby and Cliff and sisters Carol, Lois, Audrey and Dona. With great diligence and determination Vic survived two serious medical conditions. He had a major stroke in 1991 and throat cancer in 1998. Unfortunately, he could not win his most recent battle with bone cancer.

Vic liked nothing better than to help others. He took great joy in helping other residents of his seniors’ apartment as their resident handyman. On special occasions (Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving) Vic would make extra-large meals so he could share them with others in the building. He was especially good to two of his best friends (Eleanor and Betty) as their health began to deteriorate. We would like to acknowledge the staff at the General’s ENT section, and in particular Colette Nault, for their diligent and compassionate care over the last 25 years and particularly over the last two months. Vic always appreciated their help.
