BROOKS, VELMA OLIVE Passed away peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her sister Jenny Jacobs. Daughter of the late Robert & Olive Brooks, predeceased by her siblings Ruth, Frank, Peggy, Doris, Tom, Jim & Billy. Special Aunt to Susan, Karen (Alex), Matt & Trevor, Kathy (Doug), Doug, Mike & Chris. She will be forever remembered by her friends and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at St. John’s Norway Cemetery Chapel, 256 Kingston Road, on Saturday, March 4th at 11:30 am. Interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
