Vassilios Jeffrey Michael Kanellis

Vassili (Billy) Kanellis, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Toronto on April 8, 2024. 

He was 34 years old. He is survived by his parents, Stavros and Monica, and brother Demetri. Vassili did his B.Sc. and M.Sc. at Ryerson University and was working on his Ph.D. in Molecular Science at McMaster University, where he hoped to further cancer research. He loved his Greek heritage, the culture and cooking, and hoped to move to Greece eventually. He loved animals and the outdoors, and had a quirky sense of humour. Billy spent his last afternoon seeing the solar eclipse. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation: 11 am to Noon

Funeral Service at Noon

Interment will be at Pine Hills Cemetery, Scarborough.
