Urszula Rodziewicz

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Urszula (Ula) Rodziewicz. Ula passed away on March 7th, 2024 at the age of 86 with her Daughter by her side. Ula will be deeply missed by her Daughter, Agata, son-in-law, Artur and grandchildren, Madeleine, Sara and Filip and all her extended family here and in Poland. She was predeceased by her Husband, Mirek (2023) and Daughter, Jola (2000) and  Nephew Paweł (2014)

Ula was born in Warsaw, Poland on September 12, 1937 In 1958, she married Mirek Rodziewicz and had two Daughters, Jola (1959) and Agata (1966). Together the family emigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1971. 

Ula will be remembered for her strength, feistiness and perseverance, Surviving WWII as a child and stage 3 colon cancer at the age of 71. Her family takes pride in the fact that she fought until her very last breath.

Special thanks to her Palliative Doctor, Doctor Zueng and the Palliative Care Team at the Mississauga Trillium Hospital.  Thank you for the care and wonderful support she received.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, March 18th at 12 pm at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish on 4260 Cawthra Road in Mississauga.  She will then be taken to her final place of rest at St John’s Dixie Cemetery at 737 Dundas Street East.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
