Trever Kenneth Seward, 54, of Barrie, Ontario, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, at 9:46 p.m. at Royal Victorian Regional Health Centre in Barrie, following complications from liver failure.

Trever was a warm and caring soul whose presence was felt deeply by everyone who knew him. He was the kind of person who showed up for others—steady, genuine, and generous with his heart. Whether through a conversation, a helping hand, or simply being there, Trever had a way of making people feel seen and valued.

A hardworking and skilled concrete finisher and form setter, Trever took pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. He brought the same commitment and care to his craft as he did to his relationships.

Trever will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Jason Seward (Lorinda), and his cherished nieces, Ashley and Jessica. He also leaves behind many dear friends who meant the world to him, including Dean, Jerry, Jake, Larry, Chad, and many others whose lives were enriched by knowing him.

He was predeceased by his beloved mother, Margaret Seward (née Harper), and his father, Herb Seward, whom he now joins in rest.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Royal Victorian Regional Health Centre in Barrie, Ontario, for their care, compassion, and support during Trever’s final days.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Trever’s memory may be made to the Royal Victorian Regional Health Centre.

Details of a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date, where family and friends will gather to remember Trever, share stories, and honour a life that meant so much to so many.

Trever will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
