It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Tony Pistilli on December 30, 2025, at Joseph Brant Hospital, at the age of 87 years old.

Tony is predeceased by his wife Amalia and survived by his daughter Connie and his son. He will be forever cherished by his grandchildren, Jessica (Bronson), Stephanie (Anthony), Sierra, as well as his great-grandchildren, Amalia, Isla and Rome.

Tony is predeceased by his parents Carmela and Nicola; and a brother to John (Italia, deceased), and the late Michele (Giovannina, deceased). He was also an uncle to many nieces and nephews and a good friend to many.

Tony was well known for his sense of humour, dancing, sweet tooth and love of a tall glass of wine. For many years, he enjoyed his winters in Acapulco and coffee with friends at Albion Mall. He never missed a “7-mile” walk on the treadmill or a swim to keep him fit.

A funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Dixie Cemetery and Crematorium, 737 Dundas St E., Mississauga. Private cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to your charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
