Tom Micks, 73, left us unexpectedly on March 27, 2026.

Born in Barrie, Ontario on January 7, 1953, and raised in Minesing. Tom lived a life centered around family, friends, love, and the simple joys that meant the most to him.

He is lovingly remembered by his children:Aaron Micks (Tamsan Puley), Tricia Johnston (Greg Johnston), and Shannon Damstedt (Erik Damstedt). Tom was a proud and devoted grandfather to Ashley, Trenton, They, Jayden, Noah, Tristan, Wyatt, Finn, Ryker, and Hope, and a cherished great grandfather to Bowden.

He is also survived by his sisters, Patty Micks and Sandra Jennings (Danny Jennings), and his brother, Steve Micks. Tom was a beloved uncle and cherished family member, predeceased by his parents, Gordan and Georgina Micks, and his brother, David Micks.

Tom was a devoted father and grandfather who found his greatest happiness in watching his grandchildren play sports and grow. He loved the outdoors especially fishing and golfing-and took pride in fixing up his antique car. Many will remember him best with a Strongbow in hand, sharing stories, laughs, and his signature quick wit and cheeky, unfiltered sense of humour.

His generosity and willingness to help anyone will be deeply missed. leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.
