Thomas Frank Carter

Thomas Frank Carter born January 22nd, 1933, passed at the age of 92 at Sheridan Villa LTC on July 2nd, 2025. Loving husband to the late Patricia Carter. Remembered with love by his 3 step children Caryn (Harry), Julie (Roger), Nicky (Nadia), grandchildren Liam, Rachel (Ryan) Terry, Kaeli, Candace and Hope (Alex, Moxley, Annika), nephew John (Shirley, Sarah and Caitlin) niece Debbie (Carly), and his Casino buddy Steve. Predeceased by his parents Georgina and Reg Sr., as well as his brother, Reg Jr.

Extremely proud of his 34 year military career with the Canadian Armed Forces, most significantly as a member of the 1st and 2nd Airborne as a paratrooper and a Communications Specialist (Signal Corp).

Tom had an infectious smile and always had a greeting and kind word for everyone he met. He possessed a positive energy that made him a true pleasure to be around. A lover of Country Music, and TV, he developed a special enjoyment watching all the Hallmark Movies showing what a “Softie” and a romantic he was at heart.

A man with a great sense of humour, who always enjoyed to joke and tease.

A lover of all animals, in lieu of flowers, a donation to an animal or wildlife charity in his name would be a kind remembrance.

His absence will be greatly felt for many years to come but we hold on to the memories and all the sayings Tom has given us over the years.
