Teresita Mendoza Parlan

September 17, 1944 — December 28, 2023

Teresita Parlan, fondly known as Terry, departed peacefully on December 28, 2023. She was born on September 17, 1944, and her departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Terry's absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her, especially her surviving family members - daughter Anna Liza and son Jonathan. She adored them deeply and cherished every moment spent with them in their company.

In addition to Anna Liza and Jonathan, Terry is survived by grandchildren Christopher, Carmella Anne and Vincent; as well as siblings Gene Mendoza Konopka (Canada), Gilbert Mendoza (Canada), William Mendoza (Philippines), Orlando Mendoza (Philippines), Evelyn Mendoza Martin (Philippines), Augustine Mendoza Jr. (Philippines), and Ricky Mendoza (Philippines). She was predeceased by her siblings Reynaldo Mendoza and Bernardito Mendoza.

Terry's life was defined by dedication and hard work. For over a decade, she worked with the Oliver Family, specifically Russell Oliver of the famous Oliver's Jewellers. Her commitment to her work was exemplary, and she always went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. Following this chapter of her life, Terry transitioned to becoming a self-employed cleaning lady, serving others with humility and diligence.

As the eldest among ten siblings, Terry shouldered great responsibility from an early age. However, her warm and friendly personality shone through every challenge she faced. She had a vast circle of friends who admired her for her infectious smile and kind-heartedness. Terry had an innate ability to bring people together; hosting parties became one of her greatest joys. She loved social gatherings and joyfully attended any event she was invited to. In addition to being a gracious hostess, Terry also enjoyed embarking on travel adventures around Europe throughout her life. Her last grand voyage took place aboard a cruise ship with her cherished closest friends.

Terry had a zest for life that touched the hearts of everyone she encountered. Her dedication to her work, love for her family, and genuine warmth towards friends will forever be remembered. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, it is our hope that her beautiful spirit will continue to inspire us to embrace life with joy, kindness, and an unwavering smile. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
