Teresa Alexandra Oziewicz, of Innisfil, Ontario, passed away October 1, 2026 after a devastating illness surrounded by those who loved her the most. She was 70.

Although she did not have children of her own, her warmth and generous spirit touched everyone around her. Teresa was widely respected in the jewellery marketing industry, in which she worked for fifty years. 

She is survived by her partner, Pablo Lopez, her four siblings: Richard (Brenda) Oziewicz, Stanley (Gianna) Oziewicz, Andrew (Alina) Oziewicz, and Ewa (Scott) Hunter, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and her friend of almost fifty years, Connie Tine, whose unwavering friendship was a constant source of support. 

Teresa was preceded in death by her beloved dog, Oscar, and by her parents Mark and Stella Oziewicz. 

She was cremated. She did not want a funeral. 

A celebration of her life will be for close family and friends. Donations may be made to Teresa's favourite charity, the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or to Simcoe Hospice.
