Sydney Mary Kathleen L'Heureux

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sydney Mary Kathleen L’Heureux on May 25, 2025, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, at the age of 23, following a tragic single-vehicle rollover accident.

Born on September 16, 2001, in Ottawa, Ontario, Sydney’s life was marked by both struggle and strength. She faced a difficult battle with addiction, but her spirit remained resilient, and her love for her children, family, and animals was unmistakable.

Sydney leaves behind her children, Marlee and Billy; her mother, Stephanie Brockhurst (Jeffrey); her brother, Bryson Conway; and her grandfather, Phil Brassard (Joanne). She is also remembered by her father, Travis and the rest of his family in Thunder Bay. She will forever be 'Sydney Bean' to her Auntie Tania and fondly remembered by her cousins, the rest of her family along with many others who knew her along her journey.

Sydney had a quick wit, a warm laugh, and a strong will. She cared deeply for animals and found comfort in their companionship. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who cared for her.

A family gathering will be held at a later date to honour her life.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hull Services or AARCS (Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society), in recognition of causes close to Sydney’s heart.
