Suzan May (O'Connor) Turner

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Suzie, at home, on April 30, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Suzie was predeceased by her parents, Violet and Gerald O’Connor.  She is survived by Mike Turner, her loving husband of 35 years.  She leaves her siblings Marlyn (Joey Burt), Kathleen (Richard Davis), Donna (Doug Baker), and Ellen (Rick Simpson) as well as many nieces and nephews. She was deeply loved.

Sue faced her battle with cancer with tremendous courage and good spirits.  The dear friends that she made during her times spent golfing, curling, and travelling were a tremendous support and kept her spirits high right to the end.

There will be a Celebration of Life on May 31 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Meadows Golf and Country Club at 4335 Hawthorne Road, Ottawa.

Donations may be made in Sue’s name to the Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Center, located at the Queensway Carleton Hospital.
