It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Susan, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Sue was a woman of quiet strength, fierce independence, and a wonderfully playful sense of humour. She had a knack for pulling off the most subtle little pranks, often finding amusement in the smallest moments. Her stubborn streak was part of what made her who she was — determined, strong-willed, and always wanting to do things her own way.
She was never one to make things about herself. Instead, Sue spent her life making sure the people she loved were happy, comfortable, and taken care of. She showed her love not through grand gestures, but through the countless little things she did for others, often without expecting anything in return.
Sue found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved spending time surrounded by nature, getting behind the wheel of her car, and heading out to explore. Whether she had a destination in mind or simply wanted to see where the road would take her, she enjoyed the freedom of discovering the world around her.
Above all, Sue's greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. She treasured the time she spent with them, and each one held a special place in her heart. The love she had for them was immeasurable, and the memories they made together will be cherished forever.
Sue leaves behind her two loving daughters, Crystal and Tricia, and her eight beloved grandchildren, Hailey, Chloe, Abigail, Maxwell, Emelia, Jasper, Imoen, and Isaac.
She is also lovingly remembered by her sisters, Linda, Sharon, Glenda (Andy), and Pat, along with her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Leonard, whose memory remained a part of her family's story.
A very special place in Sue's heart belonged to her dearest friend, Sheila. More than simply a friend, Sheila was a treasured part of Sue's life. The two shared countless moments together, finding comfort, companionship, and happiness in each other's company. Sue adored Sheila with her whole heart, and the bond they shared was truly special. Their friendship was one of life's greatest gifts, filled with love, laughter, and the simple joy of being together.
Sue will be remembered for her strength, her humour, her adventurous spirit, and the selfless way she loved those around her. She had a way of making sure everyone else was okay, even when she had her own struggles to face. Her absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled, but her love will continue to be felt in the lives of everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
We will miss her little jokes, her stubborn determination, her caring heart, and all the ordinary moments that now mean so much more.
**May she forever have open roads to explore, beautiful places to discover, and the freedom to go wherever her heart desires.**
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our Mom, Nana, Sister, Aunt, and Friend.
