Susan Lynn Lefebvre (nee Borlase). Sue was the youngest child of Rita (nee Styles) and George Borlase. She was born in Ajax on March 14, 1959 and was, without a doubt, the most beautiful baby ever born at the Ajax Hospital. Sue was a vibrant and beautiful soul, inside and out.
With her loving and devoted husband, Guy, by her side, Sue passed away peacefully at the Toronto General Hospital on June 13, 2026, in her 68th year, after fiercely and bravely battling multiple health issues over many years. Every challenge that Sue faced was met with her steely determination and courage, and with an incredibly positive attitude.
Sue and Guy married on September 20, 1997. They were the proverbial couple that was destined to be. From the moment they met, Sue and Guy were an inseparable pair who loved nothing more than adventure, but most of all, just being together. They built a life and a home in Toronto, where they both worked. Travel was something Sue and Guy both loved. They made many lasting memories discovering the world together. Exploring the diverse cultural, arts, musical and culinary offerings that the city offered was something that Sue enjoyed so much with Guy. She and Guy also shared a love of dancing, and spent many happy hours learning to tango with their friend and teacher, Jerome, travelling as far as Argentina to pursue their passion. Seeing them dance together, seemingly effortlessly, was simply magical and the looks of pure joy and love on their faces was something to behold. Sue had a radiant smile that could light an entire room. Her dry and irreverent humour brought many a smile to those who spent time with her.
Sue will be missed more than words can express. The world is an emptier place without her but she leaves to all those whom she loved and who loved her, many wonderful and happy memories.
Sue is predeceased by her parents, Rita and George Borlase, by her infant brother George, by her great-niece Faydra Fairfield, by her parents-in-law Claire and Yvan Lefebvre, and brother-in-law Stanley Lavergne (Denise). She is survived by her adoring husband Guy, by her precious fur baby Rascal, her sister Jeanne Fairfield (Jim), and by her brother John Borlase (Joanne). She leaves to mourn her sisters-in-law Danielle Thomas (Ernest), Anne Gervais (Jim), Linda Lefebvre (Ken Suddaby), Francine Rowsell (Wayne), and Denise Rudzinski (John).
Sue will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews
