DADSWELL, Susan (née Cooper)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Susan Dadswell (née Cooper) on August 13, 2026.

Susan was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by Gary Dadswell; her daughters, Emily Hargreaves (Michael, Grace, and Logan) and Kaitlin Pollard (Tony); her siblings, Connie, Douglas, and Kathleen; and the entire Cooper and Dadswell extended families.

She was predeceased by her loving parents, Fred and Polly Cooper.

Born on February 26, 1952, in Windsor, Ontario, Susan had a lifelong love of baking and gardening. She was happiest making chocolates in her kitchen or tending to her ever-expanding garden on Cadiz Crescent.

Susan will be remembered fondly by her family, friends, and neighbours for her warmth, kindness, and the quiet joy she brought to those around her.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no funeral, as she never liked to be the center of attention.

In lieu of flowers or donations, please put on a floral or bright shirt, take a moment to find beauty in the gardens around you, and pass along kindness to a stranger.
