It is with great sadness that I announce the sudden passing of my beloved husband Steven. Steven was 62 years old when he unexpectedly passed away at home. He was a patient, affectionate, and dedicated hard working individual who always put the needs of others ahead of his own.

Born in the bustling city of North Bay, Ontario, he made his way to Ottawa, Niagara Falls and back to Ottawa again as his final home. He has a compassionate nature and a witty sense of humour.

Steve's care of others, warmth and compassion towards everyone he encountered and his passing will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved him. Steven's memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends, extended family at MacEwen Petroleum and National Capital Mopar Association.

Steven loved to laugh and tell of his many inspiring dad jokes, travelling and his uncanny love for his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs (his only flaw), will leave a sadness in our hearts.

Steven is survived by his loving wife Lynda and his stepchildren Kayla & Dayton, his granddaughter Calysto, his father James Casselman, his mother the late Ada Casselman, his brothers Kevin (Karen) & Tony (Nina) and sister Jennifer (John), nephews Christian, Dalton & Gregory and nieces Loreli, Chelsea (Jon) and Courtney (Jack) and his beloved dogs Bella and TT.

Forever in our hearts, a life well lived and gone from our site but never from our hearts. A beautiful soul is never forgotten, just remembered with great love.

A Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date.
