HIOS Stavroula (Voula)

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Stavroula Hios on June 15, 2023, at the age of 84. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, to join her beloved husband, John.  Stavroula is survived by her loving and devoted sons, Demetri (Afroditi) and Nick (Marisa), and by her treasured grand-daughter, Danielle.

Stavroula will also be missed by her siblings George (Afroditi), Bessie (Antonios), John (the late Veve) and Antonia (George) and her many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the

St. Demetrios Church,

30 Thorncliffe Park Drive,

Toronto, Ontario on

Tuesday, June 20, 2023

from 4-8 pm.

Funeral mass will be held at

St. Demetrios Church on

Wednesday, June 21, 2023

at 10:00 am,

followed by interment at

Highland Hills Cemetery, Gormley.

Donations, in lieu of flowers may be made in Stavroula’s memory to St. Demetrios Church with appreciation from the family.
