With deep love and sadness, the family of Stanislawa (Stella) Rudowicz announces her passing on October 11, 2026, in Ottawa, Ontario, at the age of 91.

Stanislawa was the beloved wife of the late Jan Rudowicz and loving mother of Andrzej (Maria), the late Dr. Wojciech Rudowicz (Katarzyna), and Tomasz (Barbara).

Affectionately known as Babcia, she will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family in Poland.

Born in Limanowa, Poland, Stanislawa came to Canada in 1989. She built a life centred on faith, family, and caring for those she loved.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Starwood Long-Term Care Home for their kindness, compassion, and devoted care over the past two years.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Hyacinth Roman Catholic Polish Church, 201 Lebreton Street North, Ottawa. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Munster United Cemetery.
