Spyros Brahos

April 12, 1950 — April 23, 2024

Toronto

It is with deep and profound sadness and heartache that we announce the untimely passing of Spyros, Brahos. Spyros passed away peacefully on April 23rd, 2024, in Toronto, Canada, surrounded by his loving family.

Spyros was a devoted husband to Nicoletta “Nicky”, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond and an adoring father to his three daughters, Joanne, Voula (John) and Vicky (Philip). He was a cherished brother to Georgina, Alexandra (John), and Athanasia, sharing a special connection with each of them. Above all, Spyros took immense pride and joy in his role as a grandfather, affectionately known as “Pappou” to Jordan and Leo whose lives he enriched with laughter, boundless love, and playful moments.
Spyros immigrated to Canada at 15 years old from Dafni, a small village near Tripoli, Greece. He was a kind and selfless man whose unwavering love for his family knew no bounds. His dedication and sacrifice were a testament to his deep love and commitment to his family. His sanctuary was his garden, where he found joy and satisfaction in nurturing his vegetables and flower beds to perfection, a reflection of his meticulous care and dedication.

Spyros will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, carrying forward a legacy defined by love, kindness, and laughter.
