In Loving Memory of Our Beautiful Mom Shirley Mae Card (nee Holland) 

February 20,1937– July 1, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who left us far too soon at the age of 88 after a brief battle with cancer. 

We take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with our Dad (Wayne Card) the love of her life after 38 long years. Also reunited with her parents Jack and Jeanette Holland, her sister Joan and many other family and friends that went before her. The heavens are much brighter now with her presence. 

Surrounded by love in her final weeks, she was never alone—her children Melanie (Dave), Mandie (Rick), and Grant (Julie) were by her side, cherishing every moment and holding her hand on her final journey. 

Family was the heart of her world. She was a guiding light, a constant source of love, wisdom, and warmth to her five grandchildren—Lee (Dani), Jamie (Matt), Shannon (Marc), Arianna (Tiffany) and Brock (Staci). Her deep presence in their lives shaped who they are today, and her memory will continue to live on in all of them. 

She leaves behind five beautiful great-grandchildren— Taylor (Olivia), Lukas, Nathan, Jacob, and Layla who will grow up with stories of her love, strength, and kindness. She loved nothing more than spending time with them on many adventures. Her legacy is stitched into the fabric of their lives and will never fade. 

Shirley will be missed by her surviving brother George (Rosalie), sister Nancy (Rick), sister-in-law Earlene ,many nieces and nephews as well as cherished friends that she considered family. 

She was, and always will be, our home.
