Sheila Ann Davie (Debay)

September 18, 1950 - October 30, 2023

Age 73, of Belleville, ON, passed away peacefully at West Lake Terrace Nursing Home, Picton, Monday October 30, 2023, born in Halifax, NS, daughter of the late Clarence and Mary (Awalt) Debay. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry Davie, 2 sons, Clarence (Kelly) Davie, John (Tammy) Davie and daughter Mary Davie, brothers, David Debay, Tommy Debay, Francis (Heather) Debay; sisters, Marion Debay, Marilyn Debay and Nadine Debay and predeceased Gloria Banks.

She was especially proud and loved her 3 grandchildren, Mackenzie Davie, Georgia Davie and Robert Darren Kirkman; they lit up her life and gave her so much joy.

She loved to tell the stories and memories of her and her families life and was a friendly ear to anyone who needed one, with advice and wisdom; loved to help out and volunteer with a few organizations over the years, starting with the Darthmouth Boys and Girls Club of Dartmouth, NS where she also worked at for a while before adventuring to Ontario where she then decided to become a crossing guard for some years before retiring  and volunteering at the Belleville City Mission of Belleville, ON, where she met many friends and good times, she will always be loved and remembered and watching over the people she loved and cared about.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
