Shannon Yvonne Caroline Sarault (nee Kapounek), 47, of Limoges, Ontario, passed away peacefully at home on February 15, 2026, surrounded by her family, following a five-year battle with cancer.

Born in Ottawa in 1979, to Estelle Hartle and Doug Kapounek. She married her loving husband, Luc Sarault in 2009 and together they built a life with their 3 sons.

Shannon is survived by her husband Luc Sarault and three young children Ryder, Ollie and Ezra, her father Douglas (Wendy), her in-laws Daniel and Madeleine Lalonde (Gingras) and Ronald Sarault (Sylvie), brother-in-law Jeffrey Lalonde (Josie), sister-in-law Veronica Lalonde (Adam), many cousins, aunts, uncle and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Estelle Hartle.
