Sebastiano Craparotta

Sebastian Craparotta, also known as Sam was a very hard-working family man and when he wasn’t building or renovating with his wife, whom he met at age 16, enjoyed fishing, spending time with friends, telling jokes (even if they were wildly inappropriate) and making people laugh. He was known for his debates which everyone knows Leo’s like to do. He took great pride in his Italian heritage. Sebastian cherished his role as a father to his daughters who were his pride and joy. He spent the last 10 years caring for his elderly father Ignazio and devoted himself to him. He adored his cats Trump and Biden. Sebastian was a humorous, generous, fun loving and loyal husband, father, son and friend.

Sebastian passed away at the age of 48 at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on December 7, 2023 with family and his best friends at his side. He fought and suffered for nearly 6 years from a very rare and ugly disease called Pansclerotic Morphea. A disease that has no current cure.

He is survived by his wife Carmelina and daughters Kyla and Karina. Sebastian will be missed, he was a man of honour and had a strong faith in God. He experienced the Power of the Holy Spirit, may he rest in peace and rise in glory.
