Sandra, Elizabeth, Sharolta, (Petö) Vass of Toronto, born in Montreal, passed away peacefully and painlessly on May 13th 2026 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, Ontario.

Sandra was born November 19th, 1935 to Margit Ször and Imre Petö in Montreal. She was born with a loving heart which went on her entire life. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to so many people. Her love of cooking and baking will be remembered and cherished.

Sandra was a loving wife of 51 years to Imre Vass, mother to her two sons, Richard and Gary, her three grandchildren, Sandra, Tara and Jesse, great-grandmother to Laurier and numerous nephews and nieces. She was the youngest sibling of the Petö family, she was a devoted and loving sister to her predeceased sister Margaret (Petö) Taussig, two brothers, Nicolas and Leslie.

She will be missed by all.
