Oh, my Gotti!
Sandi Chénier Doy-Yat (Gina) passed peacefully in her own beautiful way on October 11th, 2026, while rocking out to Dream Weaver, surrounded by so much love, with Kayla and Kaitlin on either side.
Sandi was so magical to so many people. She leaves behind her three daughters, Katrina, Kayla, and Kaitlin; her loving cats, Ling Ling and Millie; her soul sister, Tina (Randy); and her sisters, Marilyn (Kerry), Lynn (Jeff), and Patricia.
She also leaves behind her grandchildren, who meant the world to her: Adalynn, Saige, Lilly, Abagail, and Ty.
A special thank-you to Xarifa Moffitt for the extra time she gave us through the donation of her kidney. Mom cherished that bean.
The family would like to thank the staff at the General Hospital for their kindness, especially Jennifer Proulx on the 5th NE floor.
Her legacy will live on through her daughters and grandchildren. Sandi lived her life led by love and unshakable family values. Her heart was bigger than she was.
The family is in the process of planning the celebration of life for their beloved Mom, which means it can’t be anything short of perfect of course. When arrangements have been made to rock out for our beautiful mom we will let you know!
Love you long time, Mommy, Mom, Ma, Magina, Gina. May your angel wings keep you flying with pixie dust wherever you may go.
