Ross Fraser Milne, 37, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.

Born in Orillia, Ontario, on August 12, 1988, Ross lived his life with a generous heart, a sharp memory, and a voice that everyone recognized — raspy, warm, and always full of life. He wore many hats throughout his career, always taking a hands-on approach, and his outgoing nature made everyone around him feel valued and cared for. Ross never met a stranger; he was a true people person who loved to socialize and connect deeply with others.

Above all, Ross was a devoted and loving father to his two boys, Rostin and Reece, and a dedicated husband to his wife, Kirstin. He had an incredible gift for listening — truly listening — not just to reply but to understand. He was never at a loss for words and had a special way of expressing his thoughts and feelings that left a lasting impact on those who knew him.

Ross is survived by his beloved wife, Kirstin; his cherished sons, Rostin and Reece; his sister, Stacey; his brother, Scott; his best friend, Brandon; and many other family members and friends who loved him dearly.

A funeral service to celebrate Ross’s life will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Basic Funeral, 152 Bradford Street, Barrie, Ontario.

Ross will forever be remembered for his generous nature, his love for his family, and the countless lives he touched.
