Rose Daisy Climo

Rose Daisy Climo, June 6, 1925 – December 4, 2024

Rose passed peacefully in her sleep on December 4, 2024 at Aspire Traditions of Durham Retirement home in her 100th year. Rose was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Climo and was one of six siblings survived only by her sister Dorothy. Rose will be missed by her nephew, Ken who visited her regularly and managed her daily needs.

As a young girl, Rose was a professional dancer in musical theatre and stage shows. She immigrated from England, first in 1949, but moved back to England on several occasions, finally settling down in Canada in the late 1980’s. During her transitional moving experiences, she also took up residence in Portugal for few years. Rose (and Tom) seemed to have a gift in buying, restoring and selling residential properties to make their living. Rose was a restless person, moving constantly, making her own path in life and continued driving well into her 90’s.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family service at one of Rose’s favorite places at a later date. Many thanks to the patient and kind nursing staff at Traditions of Durham, who seemed to enjoy Rose’s restless spirit.

Rose, you charted your own way through life, touching the hearts of many people and you will live on in us by the many memories you created.
