Ronald William Smith

We remember Ron Smith. Ron has been a faithful and joyful part of the Westminster family for years. He loved God, the people around him and music. He also served in the Canadian military for 25 years; he spent most of his time in Canada but also went on a peacekeeping mission in Palestine and the Middle East and spent 3 years in Germany. 

He will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Sherryn and husband Bob and his sister Joy from Edmonton. Also greatly missed by his nephew John and niece Carolyn. He will be fondly remembered by family and friends.

Ron passed away on Sunday about the same time we were praying for him toward the end of the service; that the Lord would welcome him home with rejoicing!
A memorial service to celebrate Ron's life will take place at Westminster Presbyterian Church Barrie at 1pm on July 19th.

He had a frame on his wall with Isaiah 35:3-6
