In Loving Memory of Ronald Malcolm Mulder.
07.22.1958 - 09.27.2026It is with great sadness that we annouce the passing of Ron. He leaves behind a legacy of generosity, strength and courage that will continue to be impacted by those who loved him.
Ron was known for his kind and calm demeanour, and his optimistic outlook on life was inspiring. He might not have been the loudest in the room, but when he spoke it had intent and purpose. Ron had a passion for travel and adventure, which he spent many of his years doing. He was a man of all trades; the guy you called to fix anything. His happy place was his Island on Stoney Lake where he spent his summers. Harnessing his full range of abilities, he turned it into the perfect oasis to entertain family and friends.
While working in the security field, Ron and Debbie partnered in operating a Toronto Dairy Queen for many years before moving back to Whitby. From there, he built his own respectable and reputable business while continuing to work and support the Whitby Dairy Queen with Debbie. More recently throughout his heroic battle of cancer, he always remained positive and never allowed it to affect his day to day. Ron felt he was always dealt a good hand despite what life gave him, and did not want it to deter his future opportunities.
Ron was predeceased by his parents Jack and Toni, and his father-in-law Ronald.
He is survived by his lifetime partner Debbie, mother-in-law Jackie, his daughters Kassie (Travis), Niki (Kyle) and Abbie, and his grandchildren Rhylee, Sawyer, Brayden and Madison.
Ron is also survived by sisters Judy (Terry) and Pam, as well as many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on through his family, friends, and the countless lives he made brighter. Forever loved. Forever remembered.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to KCA - Kidney Cancer Associate in Ronald’s memory.
