Ronald James Smith

Ronald James Smith, was born on June 7, 1959, in Washington, DC. He passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025, in Ottawa, Ontario, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Ronald was a devoted life partner to Rosemary Baker-Moore, with whom he shared countless moments of joy and companionship. His family extended to include his beloved Grandchildren Justin Moore, Amanda and Michael Cadieux. Ronald also played a significant role in the lives of his Step Children Candice Moore (Ryan Anderton), Michael Moore and Lori Thompson.

In addition to his immediate family, Ronald is missed by several siblings-in-law, including Shawn Baker (Dorothy), the late Elaine Baker (Wayne Barkley), and Brenda Baker (late Norm Villneuve). Ronald was loved dearly by all.

Ronald’s kindness and dedication to his family and friends will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
