Ronald Holder passed away peacefully on February 28th, 2024 at the age of 83 at Providence Health Care in Toronto after battling diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s.
He is survived by his wife Genevieve and their three sons. He was a loving father to oldest son, Walter, middle son, Gregory and his wife Joelle, and youngest son, Jerome.
Born August 6th, 1940 in Trinidad, he was the eldest son of John and Enid Holder, brother to Errol (dec), Franklyn, and Simeon, and brother-in-law of Jean, Sharon and Pat.
Ronald immigrated to Canada in 1970, and had a long career as a lithographer and photographer. He loved bread, scotch, the beach, and listening to Frank Sinatra, and was sustained by his faith, often finding comfort in reading the bible.
The memorial service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers we kindly ask that donations be made to The Diabetes Association (select "Yes, this is an In Honor or In Memorial gift") or The Alzheimer's Society or any reputable charity that supports research of these diseases.
