It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Gordon Fearon, in his 87th year, on June 15th, 2025, in his new home at Palermo Village Retirement Residence, Oakville.
Beloved husband of the late Lynda Fearon. Cherished father to Kimberley and Nicholas Zincone, Mary-Lyn and Greg Cook, and the late David Fearon. Deeply loved and missed by his grandchildren: Mitchell and Nicole Zincone, Matthew and Dawson Fearon, and Kayla and Amanda Cook. Brother to Audrey Fearon, George and Pam Fell and predeceased by Leonard Fearon.
Ron spent over 30 years as a Budget Manager with the Ministry of Transportation, after graduating from Ryerson University with a degree in Accounting. In his later years, he pursued his passion for travel by running a franchise with Connection Key Travel alongside his wife.
Known for his warm presence and active spirit, Ron participated in many community and social groups, including Curling, Lawn Bowling, Square Dancing, Business Network International, Probus, and his beloved church family. He was admired and adored by all who knew him and will be truly missed.
The visitation will take place on Monday, June 23rd, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at St. John’s Presbyterian Church, located at 2940 10th Sideroad, Bradford, Ontario. The funeral service will take place at 2:30 p.m., followed by a reception offering food and refreshments. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John’s Presbyterian Church, Bradford, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.
