Ronald Alvin Ellis

Ronald Alvin Ellis, 73, of Wiarton, Ontario, passed away on Friday October 29th, 2021. He died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his children at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario.

Ron was predeceased by his parents Percy and Margaret Ellis (nee McGinn), and siblings Anna Jane, Perry, John and Michael. He is survived by his brothers Bruce and Robert Ellis, sister Victoria Ellis, beloved children Jamie, Benjamin, Sarah Jane and Meghan, Daughter in Law Amanda Ellis(nee Moore) and grandchildren Jacob, Ryan, Samuel, Joesph, Lawrence and Tristan Ron was a colourful character who was known by many for his charming smile and larger than life personality. An avid outdoors enthusiast who spent much of his time camping and fishing, he was always eager to share his love of nature with friends and family.

Ron will always be fondly remembered for his quick wit, his sense of humour and kind heart and he will be missed by many
True to the man. Ron’s final wishes were to forego a traditional service.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Ron to the Canadian Cancer Society .
A special mention to the Palliative care unit at Victoria Hospital in London for their compassionate supportive care in his final days.
