Ronald Rene Dubeau

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Rene Dubeau. Ron passed away peacefully at Marianhill Hospice in Pembroke, ON Monday, May 5, 2025, at the age of 75.

Ron was born in Timmins, Ontario on February 14, 1950, to the late Gilbert and Blanche Dubeau. He was a wonderful husband, brother, uncle and friend whose kindness, generosity and sense of humour left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years (40 years married plus 18 to prepare), Fran; his siblings Evelyn (Steve) and Roland (Sandy); his special niece Wendy and her son Aidan, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his oldest sister Patricia, brother Roger, and brother Gilles.

He will be sadly missed by our close friends: Debi, Lorie and Mike, Dave, Lisa and Jess, and Barry.

Ron will be remembered for his gentle quiet nature and a quirky sense of humor. He was kind, considerate, and honest.

He could fix or build anything he wished. And if he could not fix it, he jerry-rigged it!

At Ron’s request, there will be no service. A family BBQ will be planned later this summer.
