Romeo Stanislas Nascimento

Romeo "Stan" Nascimento, aged 89, passed away peacefully in Pickering, Ontario, on Sunday, July 28, with his long-time partner, Valerie Gribbin, and son Rene by his side.

Stan was predeceased by his wife, Elise Nascimento (née Boudreau). He is lovingly remembered by his partner, Valerie Gribbin, his son, Rene; his sister, Maria Ferreira; his brothers, Raymond and Leslie; and his many nieces, nephews, stepdaughters, grandchildren; friends and Tennis partners.

Born in Georgetown, Guyana, Stan immigrated to Canada in 1958 and was a dedicated employee at Canada Wire's Leaside Plant for many years.

A private interment of his urn will take place at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Scarborough, Ontario, at a later date.
