Romana Kobak

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Romana Julia Kobak, nee Olszewska on October 29th, 2025 at the age of 100 years. Romana was a faithful servant of the Lord and is now at peace in the arms of her Savior.

Romana was born on February 28th, 1925 in Podhajce, Poland to the late Kazimierz and Maria. Sister to late Tadeusz (late Irena) and late Freda (late Bronislaw). She was the devoted wife of the late Zdzislaw for 50 years. Loving mother to son, late Witold (Alicja) and daughter Alina (Andrzej). She leaves behind a legacy of faith and love through her cherished grandchildren: Paul (Magda), Agnes (Jason), Dominik, Anna (Joe), and great-grandchildren: Maya, Lukas, Joshua, Julian, Emily, Kristina. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her. She dedicated her life to her family and her faith.

Funeral Service Details

A private visitation, followed by cremation will be held on November 5th, 2025. A Memorial Mass will be held on November 21st at 11:00am at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish - 4260 Cawthra Road, Mississauga, ON L4Z 1V8.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
