Robert "Leo" Papez

Died suddenly in Ottawa, Ontario at the age of 54. He is predeceased by his parents Anton and Elfreda Papez and survived by his sister Helena Shelton (nee Papez) and his children, Xavier and Eowyn.

Robert studied the masters in Florence Italy and is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art. He was a gifted artist who inherited his dad’s woodworking skills. Robert was a devoted father who loved his two children above all else he never missed the opportunity to talk about activities with the kids and the joy that they brought him.

Robert enjoyed ice cream, cooking and classic rock. Sister Helena will greatly miss her best Polka partner and his family in Vienna, Slovenia, Ontario, BC and New Brunswick will miss his deep laugh and the generous spirit he shared with all.
