Robert (Bob) Morin

June 20, 1957 — November 16, 2025

With broken hearts we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Morin on November 16, 2025 at the age of 68. Beloved husband to Lynda for over 40 years, loving and proud father to their son Kris. Bob was a man of quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family. The courage, determination and dignity with which Bob fought his illness was an inspiration to all of us.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, Françoise and Victor Morin; and his sister-in-law Danielle (Donald). He will be deeply missed by his siblings, Jeannine (Dave), Louise (Marty), Donald (Colette), as well as his nieces and nephew, Roxanne, Karine (Shayne), Amber (Bobbie) and Patrick (Michael); his great-nieces Nève, Khloe, Eliana and great-nephew Easton Robert.

Bob enjoyed camping, kayaking, listening to music, playing guitar, reading fishing magazines, doing word search and jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with family and friends. A hard-working man, Bob was best known for being an avid fisherman (and earning fishing trophies). Sadly, Bob bought his dream bass boat less than 5 months before falling ill.

Lynda and Kris would like to thank the Perth Hospital (Dr. Taylor), the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre, General Campus (Dr. Stewart, Dr. Meng). They would also like to thank all of the staff and volunteers in the Palliative Care Unit of St. Vincent’s Hospital (especially Dr. Warmels, Dr. Yu, Dr. Amrani; Nurses Julie, Donna, Malayka, Wabi and Coralee; and volunteers Eric and Marilyn).

Please consider a donation to the Palliative Care Unit of St. Vincent’s Hospital where their exceptional care and compassion enabled Bob to live his final weeks in peace and comfort. In memoriam of Robert (Bob) Morin at Bruyère Health - Ways to Give

In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held for friends and family in the afternoon of Sunday, January 4th, 2026, in Orleans. For planning purposes, and to obtain further details, kindly RSVP via email to RMorinMemorial@gmail.com no later than December 14, 2025. We hope that you will join us to reminisce and perhaps share your fondest stories and memories of Bob.

The family extends their heart-felt gratitude to all who hold Bob in their thoughts.
