Richard Francis Tayler

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Tayler at age 82 at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, Ontario. 

Born in Orillia, Ontario, Richard worked for 29 years as an office clerk with the Toronto Police Service. He was a loyal supporter of the Anglican Church of Canada and attended both St. Thomas’s Church, Huron Street, Toronto and St. James’ Anglican Cathedral, Toronto, which nurtured his love of the Anglican Catholic tradition and sacred music. He was unfailingly courteous and had many friends, particularly his dear friend Robert Rayner with whom he lived for many years and Michael Wood and his children.

His friends would like to thank the staff of Credit Valley Hospital and AgeCare Wenleigh Long Term Care Residence for their diligent care. Donations in sympathy can be made to St. Thomas’s Anglican Church, Toronto.

Rest eternal grant him, O Lord, and may light perpetual shine on him.
