Richard Gagnon

Peacefully at home on Monday, October 17, 2022, Richard (Dick) Oscar Gagnon of Ottawa, age 83. Loving husband of Pauline Gagnon (nee Racette). Loving father of Kim Scharfe of Ottawa and Mark Gagnon (Kimberley) of Bowmanville. Dear brother of Laura Munroe (Phil) of Ottawa. Predeceased by his son in-law Tim Scharfe, parents Sylvio and Lilian Gagnon and by 6 brothers and 1 sister. Also survived by his grand children Adam (Sarah), Zack (Gabbie) and Justin as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

Friends may join us on Saturday October 22nd between 10AM and 11AM for the viewing followed by a mass at the Saint-Sébastien Church 1000 Francis Street, Ottawa. A celebration of Richard’s life will follow in the Church’s Hall at the same location. Family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
