Rene had a love for the outdoors. He was a great fisherman and in his younger years hunted. As a child he wanted to pilot a plane. He made his dream come true; he got his pilot license and bought himself a plane. He accomplished a lot in his work life. He worked as an underground driller, a mine captain for 17 years and a salesman for his brother's business. He returned to school in his 50’s and began a new chapter as a draftsman and salesman where he traveled through Canada and the USA. After he retired from his many careers, he became a Superintendent in the Sudbury area until the age of 77. Throughout his life, Rene loved spending time with his family, especially trying to not miss any family gatherings. He will be forever missed.
