Raymond passed away peacefully at the age of 77 on February 17, 2022 at the Ottawa General Campus after a courageous battle with stomach cancer. He was the beloved son of the late Oscar and late Rhea (Benoit) Lemire and the wonderful father to the late Marc (late Ginette Tremblay). Raymond was the beloved husband and best friend of Lise (Beauvais) for 37 years. He was the proud father of Roger, Francine (Pete), Michel (Angela) and Guy (Jennifer). He was the step-father to the late Gilles Tremblay, Jean (Lynne) and Michelle. Proud grandfather to 12 amazing grandchildren and great grandfather to 17 wonderful great grandchildren. Beloved brother to the late Paulette (late Raymond) Murray, the late Denise Lemire, Cecile (Aurel) Labrie, Diane (Don) Grant and Pauline (Ed) Kinsella. Beloved brother-in-law to the late Denis Beauvais, Jean-Guy (Helen), Andre (Pauline) and Pierre (Denise). Raymond also leaves behind many wonderful nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

A funeral mass will be held for the immediate family at the Hope Cemetery Chapel, 4660 Bank Street, Ottawa on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be livestreamed.
