Raymond Leslie Kaddie, born on June 20, 1961, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was predeceased by his parents, Harvey and Freida Kaddie, and his older brother, Billy Kaddie.
Raymond will be lovingly remembered by his two sisters, Fay Leroux (Mike) and Sharon Paquette (Rheal). He was a proud and devoted father to Tanya Stephenson (Courtney), Jordan Kaddie (Ally), and Jessey Kaddie. Nothing brought him more joy than being “Papa” to his two beautiful granddaughters, Olivia and Payton Stephenson, who were the light of his life.
Raymond worked for many dedicated years at Domtar before its closure. He was known for his strong work ethic and the pride he took in providing for his family.
In his free time, Raymond found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. He always loved being out in the garage, meticulously detailing his cars and tinkering with anything that needed attention. He had a deep love for the open road, whether driving his car, riding his motorcycle, or heading out on his skidoo. The freedom of the journey and the peace of the outdoors brought him true contentment.
Raymond was quite the jokester and was always making everyone laugh. His sense of humor brought light to every room he entered. He also had a compassionate heart, especially for animals in need, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His love for rock music was another passion that reflected his vibrant spirit.
Raymond’s love for his family, his steady presence, his generous heart, and his adventurous spirit will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.
